I went camping this weekend, actually, I just got home a few hours ago, and during that time, I realized something; I can't live without internet. I found out that sitting at my Aunt and Uncles camper, I could get 1 bar of wireless internet from the rec center. *Glee* happiness, can't live without my internet. If any of you guys are coffee drinkers, you can relate to me; you wake up in the morning, and aren't really awake until you have some coffee. I wake up in the morning, and am not awake until my computer is as well. So at the campground, I had to hold my computer up in the air at times to I could keep an internet connection just so I could comment on a status on Facebook. Saturday night, instead of sitting around the campfire and having a good time, I was in the rec center with my Uncle playing "Age of Empires II"(only the greatest RTS ever) online with him. So, addicted? Yes. Am I glad I am? TOTALLY!

Haha, till my next post, check me out on Youtube! http://www.youtube.com/user/waitn2drive

I'm so lazy! No one's perfect though, right?

Wow...long time since my last post...it has been a super busy summer for me, I've had a lot of jobs to do, a lot of things I've been doing, all sorts of stuff. This is just a quick post to let you guys know I'm not done this blogging thing yet, I just haven't had the time to blog, and when I have, I don't have anything to blog about! But I have some stories and adventures that I plan on posting; a couple from the Skowhegan State Fair, a few from my annual trip to Aquaboggan, and some other stuff I've been doing. Most of them will probably include this guy over here:
http://ethans-life-blog.blogspot.com/.
He's my partner in crime, so a lot of the stories I tell will have him in them. Just so I can say that this post was actually about something, I'm gonna give you the link to my FAVORITE online webcomic, "Pajama Forest". You have to give this one a chance. It may seem a bit out of the normal at first, but if you read the first 4 or 5 comics, you'll fall in love, so make sure you start from the beginning. http://pajamaforest.com/
So, back to blogging I go! (:
Hope you guys are having a great summer!,

Some Music For Your Listening Pleasure.

For today's post, I'm gonna share some Christian songs that to me, are very powerful. I've never been one to listen to music and ignore its meanings, just ask my friends; I'm always looking for something deeper in the song, and when I find it, I get goose bumps when I hear the song. Below are 3 songs that strike me as very powerful. Two are by my favorite Christian band, Casting Crowns, and the other is by an artist I recently discovered, and his name is Brendan Heath. The song "Set Me Free" by Casting Crowns gives me goose bumps everytime I listen, and its always at the point in the song when the lyrics go, "do you wanna be....FREE?", and all the instruments pause and there is nothing but the lead singers voice.

Enjoy, and Happy Sabbath (:

Casting Crowns - Praise You In This Storm

Casting Crowns - Set Me Free (Along with being a great song, the video to this song is AWESOME)

Dude, smell my hands.

Okay, so today I was "surfin the net", and I came across this webcomic called Not From Concentrate. I started clicking through the comics when I came across this one,

This Picture instantly reminded me of one of my friends named Silas. It all started down at Art Clinic. Art Clinic is this event in Vermont that the kids of my school, RMS, go to every year and show off their amazing art skills. Well, this was the second year that I had ever gone, and we happened to be staying in a hotel(the first time I went we stayed in someones house). I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but I think it went like this; we(when I say we I mean everyone from my class) had just gotten out of the pool...I mean, we just got out of this enormous hot tub that was SUPER chlorinated, and we were heading back to our rooms for the night. We got there, and everyone was drying off and getting ready to go to bed when Silas walks in and says, "Hey guys! Smell my hands! They smell like fish!" We all gave him really weird looks as we said, "No! We are NOT going to smell your hands." This type of thing is expected from Silas though, as he later went on to sleep in the bathtub of our hotel room. Silly Silas.

Silas and the rest of my friends are always doing crazy, weird stuff, so as they happen I'll be telling you about them, because they always make me laugh a lot.

So I said I'd have a sweet signature; this one isn't insane, or crazy like I want the final one to be but its a start, so until my next post,

Pot plant.

Last night, Friday July 17, my friend Ethan(another new blogger) and I went out to his camp along the river cause we were bored and had nothing else to do. So we get out there, and we get a small fire going just to sit by as we talk. I had brought some firecrackers out to the camp with us so we could light em' off or whatever as some entertainment. We toss a couple in the fire, and neither of them go off. This made things get very intense all of a sudden, because now neither of us know when they will go off, and if they will at all. So we're sitting there for awhile, and finally one of them goes off, and jumps me. So that was that. After a little while longer, we finally decided that it was time to go home, and put out the fire. Before we had left, Ethan had grabbed a plant pot that we could fill with water to put the fire out. Now before I let him grab the pot, I told him to make sure there were no holes in the bottom of it, because usually there are. He flipped the pot over and said, "nope!" so we headed on our way. Well we got out there, and realize, "Dang, its dark out here, and we can barely see to get water!" so Ethan has the idea that we could use his iPod for light, which ended up being just enough to get us by. I climb down the ladder that's leaning up against the bank and heads into the water, and I asked Ethan for the pot, but I said, "Hey Ethan! Hand me the pot plant!", instead of, "Hey Ethan! Hand me the plant pot!" Ethan got a kick out of that and started laughing. So next, I bent over, filled the pot with water, lifted it up out of the water, and water started POURING out of the bottom. I turned to Ethan and said, "Ethan, I thought you would've realized that almost ALL plant pots have holes in the bottom!" He said to me, "Whatever!" and booked it to the fire, poured what was left for water in the pot out, and brought it back. I refilled it and handed it to him and he went and dumped the remaining water onto the fire a second time. Finally, after 3-4 trips, the fire was out, and it was time for us to go. (: Good times. Not a very well written story, I apologize, but its hard to tell stories from that point of view without using the words like and other overused words. Please forgive my bad English in this story :P

Wanna get up n' move? I'll help you get started (:

So today I was babysitting my cousins who live a town over from me for my Aunt and Uncle. A ways through my, "babysitting shift", I decided to throw on the song "Streamline" written by a band called Newton. The two boys I was watching started dancing around the living room. One of the boys is 2 and after only 5 seconds of the song, he started bouncing up n' down. We finished the song and both of the kids wanted more! I went then to YouTube to my all-time favorite instrumental artist(Waterflame) and we started listening to song after song after song until they were too tired to dance anymore. This is when I realized wow, I really love dance music. So what you'll find below are some of my favorites that I've listened to. The last one is my favorite of this small list, and it even gave me an idea of what I want my blog to look like. So go ahead and give these AWESOME tracks a listen, and head over to Waterflame's YouTube page and compliment him, he does some amazing stuff with music, he clearly doesn't get enough credit.

"Streamline" - Newton

"Glorious Morning" - Waterflame

"The Race Around the World" - Waterflame

"Jumper" - Waterflame

Thanks for reading, keep comin' back for more, I gotta a lot of great stuff coming (:
Well this is it for now, I got 2 yummalicious grilled cheese waiting for me made by my mother dearest.

My first post.

Okay, so here's my stab at it; blogging. Don't know how long this will last, maybe not even a month, but I've been wanting to start a blog for about a week now, so I decided finally, on one of my boring summer days, to give it a try. Read my about me section, it will give you an intro to me, and who I am. And my "blog welcome paragraph", to get a little more of an idea of what this will be about. Basically if I see something on the internet I like, like a video, I'll post it. If I see a painting or artwork that I like, I'll post it. Sometimes I will post personal stuff like whats going on in my life, other times I'll post some crazy idea that I have, or sometimes if I really can't think of anything to blog about, I'll let a friend of mine put up a post; I'm very flexible, and if you follow my blog and read it, you'll see that right off. I'll try to put up content that everyone will like, because I want to keep all audiences entertained. Yes, this isn't just going to be a serious about my life blog, its going to be a source of entertainment, because I often find MYSELF bored online, and I wanna kill that feeling for everyone else. I'll even let people make suggestions as to what they would like to see posted on my blog. Submit stuff to me via comments, or my email; waitn2drive@gmail.com and if I like it, and its interesting, I'll put it up for people to see. Hopefully this turns into something cool, because it sounds like a good idea. My "blog family" is what I'll call it. I plan on meeting new friends, and the sooner you get to know me, the stronger you will be in my "blog family". This is gonna be fun guys, and I want everyone to be a part of it.

My first blog post. Not much to read for now, but they will get better as I go.
